Alternate Camping Locations

Looking For Weekend Camping?

If you've reached this page, then chances are that Smuggler Poker Run has sold out of Weekend Camping spaces at Tacoma Trail Cruisers and our Partner facilities. 
If you are able to camp nearby, we do have Day Parking available at $10 per day.  With Day Parking, just load your bike or quad into the back of your truck and drive on over.  Our awesome Parking Team will direct you on where to go.
For parking your rig over the weekend, the camping facilities listed below are available to the public on a first come, first served basis​.​ Tacoma Trail Cruisers is not affiliated with any of these facilities and cannot guarantee their Camping availability. Middle Waddell Campground

This ORV-oriented campground offers access to Capitol State Forest's 89 miles of motorized trail. The campground has 24 campsites and four toilets.
  • Can ride the trails to the TTC property.
  • Vehicles must be street legal to ride the roads to the TTC property.

Margaret McKenny Campground And Trailhead

Margaret McKenny is an equestrian-oriented campground with horse corrals. The campground has 24 sites, three toilets, and a camp host site with a shelter. Trailhead provides access to non-motorized trails in Capitol State Forest. ​
  • Cannot ride the trails to the TTC property.
  • ​Vehicles must be street legal to ride the roads to the TTC property.

Fall Creek Campground And Trailhead

This campground is a favorite among local equestrian groups. The trailhead provides access to hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking opportunities. Fall Creek Campground has eight campsites, a horse corral and a restroom. Be sure to check the Capitol Forest event schedule above for events that could impact campground availability. ​
  • Cannot ride the trails to the TTC property.
  • Can ride non-street legal OHVs on the forest service roads down to the TTC property.
